Art Show - The Les Cheneaux Arts Council hosts an art show every year to showcase the work of our students, instructors and community members. The show takes place 3 weeks beginning August 1, and concludes with a reception and silent auction the third Thursday in August. We invite members of the community to exhibit their work either for show or for sale, however we ask that you limit your work to four pieces, so that we may include as many as possible who would like to participate. If your work is sold through the show, the Arts Council will receive a 15% commission. Monies received through the art show are used to provide scholarships to local students pursuing an art education, as well as operating funds for our program.
